I didn't feel like leaving, spent really enjoyable time and can recommend. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and overall the room was clean. Location: the hotel was next to McKinney, TX. And it was at a medium distance from Church's Chicken, ate there couple of times.

I had the most delightful stay at a charming bed and breakfast with a vintage feel. The property is nestled in a tranquil neighborhood full of historic homes. The owners, Debbie and Gary, made me feel like a long-lost friend and their attention to detail was second to none. Every room had its own unique character and the whole house was tastefully decorated with antiques and accents. The breakfast they served was a treat for the taste buds - homemade cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, and their special cheese jalapeno grits. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with well-manicured gardens and native plants. Sitting on the private balcony of my room, listening to the birds chirping, was pure bliss. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a peaceful and memorable stay.

The location is hidden in a residential area, but close to the shopping square in central McKinney. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The vintage ambience is comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable. A recommended choice if visiting the area. 🌟

This charming B&B is within walking distance of the historic downtown square, a perfect location with many shops, restaurants, and churches. the area is peaceful and has beautiful Pecan and ornamental trees. the rooms are clean and beautifully decorated with unique touches such as claw-footed bathtubs, balconies, and huge double hung windows. Guests rave about the delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, homemade biscuits, eggs, bacon. the Innkeepers are welcoming and will make you feel right at home.

Some guests might prefer a more modern hotel with updated amenities.

Spent Xmas in a beautifully restored inn with spacious comfy rooms and great hospitality. Loved the homemade breakfast and the relaxing atmosphere. Location was perfect for walking to nearby historic district and enjoying the local shops and restaurants.

Limited food options nearby and the lack of a fitness center.

Great breakfast and warm hospitality. Walking distance to historic district shops and restaurants. Clean and comfortable room.

Noise from neighboring rooms was occasionally bothersome. Shared bathroom could be inconvenient at times.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The vintage ambience was cozy and comfortable. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The location, tucked away in an older residential area, was close enough to the DFW area and within walking distance of the downtown historic square in this city.

Couldn't find any faults at all.

I recently stayed at a charming inn on a quaint street in McKinney. I was greeted with beautiful artwork, lush green grass, and a welcoming atmosphere. Each room had its own unique character and was tastefully decorated. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast served with fresh pears from the innkeepers' trees. The innkeepers, Debbie and Gary, were delightful and made me feel right at home. The Red Gate Inn is the perfect place for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. I highly recommend this hotel.
